Day 1

    The tour begins with the pick-up at the designated location by the customer.

    This Historical Village, in a setting that reveals one of the living relics of Portuguese ancestry, transports the visitor to the deepest roots of the country's history.

  • 12:00 Guided tour of the castle and historic center of Trancoso

    Its millenarian castle contrasts with the shocks and fears lived by the people of old times. It was land of frontier, stage of diverse fights and striking battles for the formation and independence of the Portuguese kingdom.

  • 13:30 Lunch

    Time to renew the energies with a tasty lunch in a typical restaurant of the city.

  • 16:00 Guided tour of the Belmonte castle

    Land of Pedro Álvares Cabral, located in the Cova da Beira and with a wide view on the eastern slope of Serra da Estrela, the village of Belmonte fully justifies the characteristics that have given it its name.

    In the heart of Serra da Gardunha, in a landscape like a natural amphitheater, in shades of green and gray, we discover Castelo Novo, wrapped in an aura of mysticism. Here we feel something fascinating, that surrounds us and harmonizes.

  • 12:00 Guided tout to Idanha-a-Velha village

    Due to its remarkable set of ruins, it occupies a place of highlight in the context of the country's archaeological sites. It stands in the space where once there was a city of Roman foundation, capital of Civitas Igaeditanorum (1st century BC), later episcopal seat under Suevian and Visigothic rule.

    Time to refresh the energies with a beautiful lunch in a typical restaurant in the village of Monsanto.

  • 14:30 Guided visit to Monsanto village

    On top of a rocky hill that imposes itself to the look in the majority of horizons, the Historical Village of Portugal Monsanto has a singular charm, for which contribute the two titles attributed in the twenty century - Most Portuguese Village of Portugal in 1938, and Aldeia Histórica in 1995. Tourist icon of the region, Monsanto is a peculiar experience for those who visit it.

  • 16:30 Guided tour to Sortelha village

    Sortelha is one of the most beautiful and old Portuguese villages, having kept its urban and architectural physiognomy unchanged until today, being considered one of the best preserved. Enclosed by a defensive ring and guarded by a castle from the XIII century, allows the stranger to retreat to the past centuries, among the medieval graves, next to the Manueline pillory or in front of the Renaissance church.

Day 3

  • 09:00 Check-out e Pick-up

    The last day of the tour starts with check-out and pick-up at the hotel.

  • 09:30 Serra da Estrela

    With a maximum altitude of 1993 meters in the Tower, Serra da Estrela is a zone of rare beauty with impressive mountainous slopes where we can live the silence of the heights intensely and enjoy these moments of communion with nature to observe it, noting the variety vegetation, birds or flocks of sheep.

  • 13:00 Lunch in the city of Seia

    After a morning spent in Serra da Estrela mountain it's time to relax and have a good lunch in a beautiful typical restaurant in the city of Seia.

  • 15:00 Guided isit to Linhares da Beira village

    A medieval village dating back to the 12th century, Linhares da Beira possesses an unequaled architectural and artistic diversity, the fruit of the legacy of various eras. In 1169, he received his first charter, attributed by D. Afonso Henriques. But only later, in the reign of D. Dinis, was its imposing Castle erected, ex-libris of the village and main visiting card in our days. Wandering through the streets of this village museum is to make a foray into the past, its history, and feel the breeze of the Mondego Valley caressing our faces.
